Kegalla District - Ambepussa
There are two Ambepussas - both are small towns; The bigger one is on the Railway to Kandy, situated about 4 miles from Warakapola and close to Meerigama. Ambepussa also has a Railway Station. It was well known for the Government Agricultural Farm on the bank of Maha Oya. The other Ambepussa is a much smaller town between Warakapola and Mahena on the Colombo Kandy Road. It is well known for its Rest House and as the turn off to Kurunegala from the Colombo Kandy Road.
