Pannipitiya is situated on the High Level Road between Maharagama and Kottawa. It is linked to Malambe and Horana/ Moratuwa and Malambe/Borella by road. Dharmapala Vidyalaya , one of the earliest of the well known Buddhist Schools is situated at Pannipitiya ?Sirasa? broad casting and tele-casting station is situated at Depanama which is adjoining Pannipitiya. You can reach Pannipitiya by train on the Kelani Valley Railway. Pannipitiya station is between Maharagma and Kottawa Railway Stations
